OnePlus CEO and co-founder, Pete Lau, talked about the future OnePlus 8-series in a recent interview and although he didn't confirm the actual naming he gave us a few interesting bits. Both the non-Pro and the Pro versions of the upcoming handset will cost a little bit more because of 5G. It's no secret by now that the new OnePlus phones will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 865 along with the Snapdragon X55 modem, which in turn means that the OnePlus 8-series will support 5G connectivity.
